Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, has approved the expulsion of 42 students following findings of examination malpractice by the institution’s Examination Malpractice Committee.
The affected students comprise 31 Higher National Diploma (HND) students and 11 National Diploma (ND) students drawn from different institutes and academic programmes within the Polytechnic. Their expulsion was approved after the committee investigated the allegations against them and found them guilty of the offences.
Polytechnic Approves Expulsion After Investigation
The decision was contained in a statement signed by Mr. Ibrahim Esin, Principal Assistant Registrar, Academic Board Matters Division.
According to the statement, the students were found culpable of examination malpractice after the Polytechnic Examination Malpractice Committee conducted its investigation. The offences were considered contrary to the Matriculation Oath undertaken by students of the institution.

Affected Students No Longer Students of the Polytechnic
