KASHIM IBRAHIM UNIVERSITY RELEASES 2026/2027 POST-UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY ONLINE SCREENING




Kashim Ibrahim University (KIU), Maiduguri, has officially announced the commencement of its online Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to a special bulletin issued by the Office of the Registrar and dated 24 July 2026, candidates who selected the university as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained the required minimum score are invited to participate in the screening exercise.

The university stated that the registration process will be conducted entirely online through its official admission portal. Eligible applicants are advised to complete their registration within the approved application period and ensure all required documents are uploaded correctly.

Prospective students are expected to complete their online screening registration within the following dates:

  • Registration Opens: Monday, 27 July 2026

  • Possess at least five relevant O'Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics.        

Direct Entry Candidates

Direct Entry applicants must meet the O'Level requirement stated above and also possess one of the following qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 points in IJMB or JUPEB.
  • Merit grade in NCE.
  • At least Lower Credit in ND/HND.
  • A minimum of Second Class Lower in a degree qualification. 

Important Academic Requirements

Step 5
