COOU ANNOUNCES DEADLINE FOR REGULATED PROGRAMMES, EXTENDS 2026/2027 POST-UTME APPLICATION FOR OTHER COURSES


The management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Anambra State, has announced the application deadline for candidates seeking admission into its regulated programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to a public announcement issued by the university, the Post-UTME application portal for the regulated programmes will close on Friday, August 7, 2026.

Regulated Programmes Closing August 7

Candidates applying for any of the following programmes are required to complete their Post-UTME registration before the deadline:

  • Law
  • Medicine and Surgery
  • Nursing
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
  • Medical Laboratory Science

Applicants are advised to finalize their registration on or before Friday, August 7, 2026, as the application portal for these courses will not remain open beyond the stated date.

Application Extended for Other Programmes

The university also announced that the Post-UTME application portal will remain open until Sunday, August 30, 2026, for:

  • All non-regulated undergraduate programmes
  • Direct Entry (DE) candidates

Eligible applicants who selected COOU as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are encouraged to complete their applications within the approved timeline.

Prospective candidates are advised not to wait until the final day before submitting their applications to avoid possible technical difficulties.
