The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has announced a further extension of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening registration deadline for UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
According to the university, the online registration portal, which was previously extended to July 31, 2026, will now close on Thursday, August 13, 2026.
Who Can Register?
The screening exercise is open to:
- UTME candidates who chose FUTA as their First Choice Institution and scored a minimum of 180 in the 2026 UTME.
- Direct Entry candidates who selected FUTA as their First Choice Institution.
Eligible candidates who have not completed their screening registration are advised to do so before the new deadline.
Important Requirements
Candidates should take note of the following:
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026 to be considered for admission.
- Candidates must upload their O'Level results on JAMB CAPS on or before August 13, 2026.
- Failure to upload the O'Level results by the deadline will render the affected candidate ineligible for admission.
- Candidates who fail to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
