The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has issued an important update for candidates participating in its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission screening exercise. The institution has reiterated key dates for the screening process and urged applicants, particularly those who registered with awaiting results, to complete the required verification before the registration portal closes.
According to the university, the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise will take place from Thursday, August 13, to Saturday, August 15, 2026.
Candidates who successfully completed their screening registration can begin printing their examination slips from Monday, August 10, 2026. The slip will contain each candidate's examination date, time, and venue.
The university also reminded prospective applicants that the registration portal for both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates will close on Sunday, August 9, 2026. No extension of the registration period has been announced.
In addition, candidates who applied with Awaiting Result, especially those who sat for the 2026 WAEC School Candidates (WASSCE) examination and whose results have now been released, are required to log in to the UNILORIN admission portal at portal.unilorin.edu.ng to verify and update their O'Level details before the registration deadline.
Applicants experiencing challenges while verifying their results or completing the process have been advised to seek assistance by contacting the University's Admissions Office via admissions@unilorin.edu.ng.
Prospective candidates are encouraged to complete all required procedures early to avoid last-minute difficulties before the admission portal closes.
