The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has announced an extension of the application deadline for its 2026/2027 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise.
The extension gives qualified candidates who have not yet completed their applications additional time to register before the portal closes. The university also encouraged applicants awaiting the release of their O'Level examination results to take advantage of the extended application period.
New Application Deadline
According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Registrar, the Post-UTME application, which was originally scheduled to close on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, will now remain open until midnight on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.
Prospective candidates are advised to complete their registration before the new deadline, as no further extension was mentioned in the announcement.

Such candidates are expected to complete their Post-UTME registration before the new closing date and upload their O'Level results to both the JAMB Portal and the UNN Portal immediately after the results are released.
