The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has extended the registration deadline for candidates seeking to participate in the 2026 November/December National Business Certificate (NBC), National Technical Certificate (NTC), Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) Examinations.
The extension gives prospective candidates additional time to complete their registration after the Board moved the closing date from Friday, September 11, 2026, to midnight on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
New NABTEB Registration Deadline
Under the revised schedule, registration for the 2026 November/December examinations will now remain open until midnight on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
The original deadline was Friday, September 11, meaning candidates who had not completed the process before the earlier closing date now have additional time to do so.
The extension was approved by the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed.
No Additional Registration Fee
NABTEB has clarified that the extended registration period will not attract any additional registration fee.
Candidates should therefore not make extra payments because of the change in deadline. The Board specifically warned applicants against paying additional charges purportedly linked to the extension.
Candidates Yet to Register Urged to Act
Prospective candidates who have not completed their registration are encouraged to use the additional period to conclude the process before the new deadline.
The extension is intended to provide more opportunity for candidates and other stakeholders to complete the required registration arrangements for the examination.
