Gombe State University (GSU) has announced an extension of the online registration period for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME Screening Exercise, giving eligible candidates additional time to complete their applications.
According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Registrar and dated 29 July 2026, the registration exercise, which was originally scheduled to close on Friday, 31 July 2026, will now remain open until Monday, 31 August 2026.
The university explained that the extension is intended to provide another opportunity for qualified candidates who have not yet completed their online Post-UTME registration.

Important Information for Applicants
The university stated that all eligibility requirements, registration procedures, and other conditions contained in the earlier Post-UTME advertisement remain unchanged.
GSU also reminded prospective candidates that only applicants who will attain the age of 16 years on or before 30 September 2026 will be considered for admission into the university.
Candidates who are yet to register are encouraged to take advantage of the extended deadline and ensure they complete the application process before the portal closes.
