Eniola Educational Consultant reports that applications have officially opened for the IfeanHealth Scholarship & Scholar Program (ISSP) Edition 2.0, an initiative aimed at supporting outstanding Prosthetics and Orthotics students across Nigeria and other African countries.
The program builds on the success of its first edition and seeks to develop the next generation of professionals in musculoskeletal rehabilitation through financial assistance, mentorship, and practical clinical experience.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected applicants will receive a ₦100,000 scholarship grant to support their academic journey. In addition, beneficiaries may qualify for the IfeanHealth Scholar Program, where they can access advanced training and professional development opportunities.
Participants will also gain hands-on clinical exposure, mentorship from experienced Prosthetics and Orthotics professionals, and opportunities to learn in both healthcare and research environments.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:
- Be enrolled in an accredited Prosthetics and Orthotics institution in Nigeria or another African country.
- Have completed at least 300 Level or ND II.
- Possess a minimum CGPA of 3.0.
- Score 75% or above in the program's qualifying examination.
- Demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential, and a passion for rehabilitation and patient care.
- Be willing to participate in training, mentorship, and program evaluation activities.
According to the organizers, applicants living with disabilities will receive special consideration during the selection process.
Selection Process
The selection exercise will involve application screening, assessment of technical knowledge, evaluation of communication skills and career aspirations, and a final review by the ISSP Selection Committee.
The organizers noted that the scholarship is highly competitive and will be awarded to candidates who demonstrate excellence, innovation, discipline, and commitment to the Prosthetics and Orthotics profession.
