The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) has extended the registration period for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise, giving prospective candidates additional time to complete their applications.
The registration deadline, which was previously fixed for Sunday, July 31, 2026, has now been moved to Sunday, August 23, 2026.
Candidates who have not yet registered are advised to use the additional period to complete their applications before the new deadline.
Candidates Seeking to Change to AFIT
Applicants who did not select AFIT as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME but wish to seek admission into the institute are required to effect the necessary change of institution and/or course through JAMB.
The change can be processed at a JAMB office or an accredited CBT centre. Candidates should then proceed with their AFIT Post-UTME registration within the extended application period.
Registered Candidates Should Select Examination Centre
Candidates who have already completed their registration are required to log back into the AFIT portal to select their preferred screening centre.
The available centres are:
- Lagos
- Port Harcourt
- Kaduna
After selecting a centre, candidates should print their acknowledgement slip, which contains their examination date and venue.
However, candidates who complete their registration after August 16, 2026 will be required to take their Post-UTME screening examination at the Kaduna centre.
