The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new process that allows candidates to upload and verify their O’Level results from home, without necessarily visiting a Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.
Under the new arrangement, JAMB will verify candidates’ O’Level results directly with the relevant examination bodies, beginning with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).
The initiative is aimed at reducing unnecessary visits to CBT centres, queues and manual processes while addressing issues such as misplaced results, fraudulent documents and errors in manually entering subjects and grades.
How to Verify and Upload Your O’Level Result
First Level: Verification
- Visit buyresultsverificationcode.ng.
- Enter your NIN and click “Verify NIN.”
- Select the number of sittings and examination body/bodies.
- Enter your email address and GSM number and click “Pay Now.”
- Complete payment via debit card or bank transfer.
- Enter your examination number, examination series and examination year.
- Verify your result and obtain your Verification Code.
Second Level: Upload
- Send “VERIFY [Verification Code]” to 55019 or 66019.
- You will receive a notification confirming the upload.
- Candidates with two sittings will be directed to their e-Facility profile.
- Click “2026 UTME O’Level Upload.”
- Enter your Verification Code to display your verified results.
- Select the required subjects, ensuring you choose at least 5 and not more than 9 subjects, with no subject selected more than once.
- Click “Apply the O’Level Results.”
- A notification will be sent upon successful submission.
JAMB said the verification service is intended to provide candidates with a more convenient alternative, particularly during periods of high patronage and network challenges at CBT centres.
The Board stated that the initiative forms part of its efforts to make its services simpler, safer, faster and more accessible through technology.
