The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) has scheduled a make-up Post-UTME screening exercise for Tuesday, August 25, 2026, following the recent approval of new programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The exercise is specifically for eligible candidates who were unable to participate in the earlier Post-UTME screening exercises held at the Port Harcourt and Lagos Centres. The screening will provide another opportunity for affected candidates to complete the process and be considered for admission into existing and newly approved programmes.
AFIT stated that the screening will hold as scheduled on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, despite the public holiday. Candidates are therefore advised to make the necessary arrangements to attend.
Meanwhile, candidates who successfully changed their first-choice institution to AFIT on or before Friday, August 21, 2026, can still complete their Post-UTME registration on Monday, August 24, 2026, ahead of the screening exercise.
Eligible candidates are encouraged to complete their registration within the stipulated period and attend the screening as scheduled to avoid missing the additional admission opportunity.
