KWARA STATE UNIVERSITY SETS ACCEPTANCE FEE PAYMENT DEADLINE FOR 2026/2027 NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS (DETAILS)

Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has given newly admitted students a two-week deadline to complete the payment of their acceptance fees for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The directive applies to candidates who have received admission offers from the university. Such students are expected to complete the acceptance fee payment within two weeks from the date they receive their admission offer.

KWASU Acceptance Fee Deadline

According to the directive, newly admitted candidates must ensure that their acceptance fee is paid within two weeks of receiving their admission offer.

The payment serves as part of the process of confirming and securing the admission offered by the university.

Candidates who have been admitted are therefore advised not to delay the payment until the end of the stipulated period.

Failure to Pay May Lead to Loss of Admission

KWASU has warned that newly admitted candidates who fail to pay the required acceptance fee within the specified two-week period may have their admission offers revoked.

This means candidates who have received admission should treat the deadline seriously and complete the necessary payment within the period allowed by the university.

Students are also encouraged to ensure that they follow the correct payment procedure and use the university's official admission platform.

What Newly Admitted Students Should Do

Candidates who have recently gained admission into KWASU for the 2026/2027 academic session should take the following steps:

  1. Log into the KWASU admission portal.
  2. Confirm their admission status.
  3. Check the acceptance fee requirements.
  4. Complete the prescribed acceptance fee payment within two weeks of receiving the admission offer.
  5. Keep evidence of payment for future admission and registration procedures.

Newly admitted students should also pay attention to any additional instructions issued by the university regarding clearance, registration and other admission formalities.

Important Information for KWASU Candidates

The two-week period is calculated from the time the candidate receives the admission offer. Candidates should therefore avoid assuming that they have more time simply because the general admission exercise is still ongoing.

Those who have already received their admission offers are advised to act promptly to avoid any issue with their admission status.

Prospective students should also rely on official KWASU communication channels for any further updates concerning acceptance fee payment, registration and other requirements for the 2026/2027 academic session.
