The Lagos State University (LASU) Management has clarified the situation surrounding the alleged non-upload of results of some graduating students in the Department of English.
Following an enquiry into the matter, the University confirmed that the Department had uploaded all outstanding results as of Sunday, August 23, 2026.
LASU stated that students who have fulfilled all requirements for graduation will graduate alongside their peers in the just-concluded 2025/2026 academic session and will not be required to spend an additional year because of the issue.
However, students whose results remain outstanding after the latest update are advised to complete any remaining graduation requirements before they can be cleared for graduation.
The University reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that students who have satisfied all graduation requirements are not unnecessarily delayed in completing their programmes.
