Kaduna State University (KASU) has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its postgraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to a notice issued by the University’s Office of the Registrar, applications opened on Thursday, August 20, 2026, and will close on October 31, 2026.
The available postgraduate programmes include Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and Professional Master’s programmes.
Application Fee
Applicants are required to pay a processing fee of:
- ₦10,000 for Nigerian applicants
- $20 for non-Nigerian applicants
Interested candidates are to visit the University’s application portal at applicant.safapply.com/kasupg to view the available programmes and application procedures.
PGD Admission Requirements
Applicants for Postgraduate Diploma programmes must possess:
- Five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in a maximum of two sittings.
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum of Third Class.
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Lower Division in an unrelated field may also be considered.
- HND with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant field from a recognised institution.
- Candidates with a Pass in a Bachelor’s degree, HND or equivalent will not be considered.
- NYSC Discharge, Exemption or Exclusion Certificate.
Professional Master’s Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in a maximum of two sittings.
- A relevant First Degree from KASU or another recognised university with at least Second Class Lower Division; or
- A Third Class degree or HND and Postgraduate Diploma from a recognised institution, with a minimum CGPA of 3.50.
- NYSC Discharge, Exemption or Exclusion Certificate.
